The Veteran Transition is Broken.

When I left active duty, I had three huge frustrations:

  1. The overwhelming “sea of good” for veterans. There is a lot of great intent but far less value actually created.

  2. There are not many resources for veteran interested in grad school. Even for going to get an MBA, a highly popular route for veterans, it can still feel like a mystery. And then law school, med school, or other grad programs? Fuhgeddaboutit- there’s basically nothing.

  3. The whole system felt like it was pushing me and everyone else into a J-O-B job. Not something meaningful, impactful, or ambitious, but something that was designed to check the block and make people feel happy that a veteran was hired. I wanted more and know many other veterans who felt the same.
